Data and privacy

Where is the file I upload stored?
It is processed for the analysis and stored against your account. Deleting the file also deletes its data.
Is my data sent to an AI?
No. YouReply Analyze performs statistical computation; it does not use a language model. If you are looking for text analysis, YouReply Intelligence is a separate product.
Is my data published or shared with anyone?
No. The data you upload is visible only in your account and is not used even in aggregate statistics.

Methods

What if I do not know which test to choose?
Applicable methods are shown with their rationale based on variable types, measurement levels, group count, and analysis structure. Methods whose assumptions are not met are flagged. Non-parametric alternatives may be shown where appropriate, but an assumption violation does not automatically mean that a non-parametric test must be used. The platform helps you compare options; the researcher remains responsible for the final method choice and interpretation.
Will the results match SPSS?
Results are expected to be broadly consistent when the same data, method, and analysis settings are used. However, SPSS and the open-source libraries used by YouReply Analyze may have different defaults for missing data, variable coding, sums of squares, estimation methods, algorithms, software versions, and rounding. For critical analyses, compare the method settings and raw output.
Are effect sizes reported?
Yes. For supported analyses, the relevant effect size and, where available, its confidence interval are shown with the result. A p value describes the probability of obtaining a result at least as extreme as the one observed, assuming the null hypothesis and the model assumptions hold. It does not by itself show the size or practical importance of an effect, or the probability that the null hypothesis is true or false. Results should be evaluated together with the research design, assumption checks, effect size, and confidence interval.
How many rows can I upload?
Typical survey datasets (thousands of rows) run without trouble. Very large files take longer, and you are warned as the limit approaches.

Files and output

Which file formats are supported?
CSV and Excel (.xlsx). Column types are detected automatically; you can correct the measurement level manually if needed.
How do I get the output into my thesis or report?
Tables are formatted close to APA layout and downloaded as Excel and PDF. Charts can be taken separately as PNG.
Do files with Turkish characters cause problems?
No. Non-UTF-8 encodings (such as the CSV Excel produces on Turkish Windows) are detected and converted.

Plans and billing

Is there a free trial?
The free plan has no time limit and needs no card. You can try the Basic package free for 14 days; nothing is charged automatically when the trial ends.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. When you cancel you keep access until the end of the current period, then return to the free plan. Your data is not deleted.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Annual billing includes two months free. You pay for ten months.
What is an analysis run?
An analysis run is one execution of a single statistical method on a dataset. The Free plan includes 50 runs per month. Basic and Enterprise have no analysis-run limit.
